Mahopac High School students recently attended the annual Career and Service Learning Fair, presented by the high school counseling department. The event featured professionals, nonprofit organizations and community leaders, including several Mahopac alumni who met with students and provided valuable insights into potential career paths and volunteer opportunities.
The students explored a wide range of industries, including architecture, construction, health care and technology, while also learning about ways to give back to the community through service projects and nonprofit work. The enriching experience allowed them to connect with professionals, ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of future career options.
“We are committed to helping our students discover and pursue their passions,” Administrator for School Counseling April Ljumic said. “By engaging with this remarkable and diverse group of exhibitors, our students are gaining insights to help guide their educational and career choices. We are grateful to the individuals and organizations who dedicated their time to support our students’ success.”
