Rounding out the evening at June's BOE meeting was a celebration of three of Mahopac's board members who have served the community faithfully in their roles for years. Thank you to Lucy Massafra, Michael Martin, and David Furfaro, and good luck with your future endeavors!

Mahopac High School's graduating class took a stroll down memory lane earlier today when they visited their old elementary schools. The seniors, clad in caps and gowns, were greeted by classes full of fascinated elementary school students.

Yesterday Mahopac's special classes ventured out onto the Mahopac High School track and field. MHS skills students manned stations ranging from bowling to water balloon throwing, and concluded with a sweet, icy treat. Thanks to everyone who participated!

This Saturday is Relay for Life, come join us at the Mahopac High School Track as the Mahopac community celebrates survivors and the memory of those we've lost. We hope to see you there!
Despite the rain, Lakeview Elementary students came together in the name of charity today for the annual Stuff the Bus event. Students have been bringing in non-perishable food donations and today is the day that they stuff the bus and send it to Saint John's Food Pantry.
Tomorrow night, the Mahopac CSD Board of Education will hold a regular board meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Mahopac High School Auditorium. Superintendent Christine Tona will host Community Connections at 6:30 p.m. outside the MHS auditorium, before the board meeting.

After weeks of practice, Mahopac's fifth grade track and field stars got out under the hot sun today for the 2024 Fifth Grade Track Meet. The young athletes were supported by stands full of parents, staff, community members and their peers. Congratulations to our young athletes!
